I have a kitten that was born the end of March beginging of April he has stopped eating?

he was fine up until a week or so ago, he was playing, and would eat when we fed the kitties twice a day, his eyes were clearing up( we had a few kitties whose eyes would matter shut) now he doesn't eat, has diarrhea, his eyes matter shut and when you clean them to open then this green puss/mucus comes out. he just sits there, not acting like kittens usually do. i went to the vet clinic and talked to a veterinary assistant, the vet was suppose to call us later yesterday. im planning on taking the kitten in later this afternoon, were thinking its distemper but i thought id check and see what people on here though. thanks!
