Is there anyone here who's really a pet specialist?

Personally, I give my advise from my own experiences. I have been a veterinary technician for 11 years, 2 of those were spent working at an Emergency Clinic, and for the last 5 years I have been the practice manager at my clinic. I have seen people give advice for things that need professional care. If someone is worried about the welfare of their pet they should seek medical advice from a veterinarian (who, as someone pointed out above, there are none of here). Many times "GOOGLING" your question will provide better results than asking about it here. I seldom give long explanations or advice unless it is something I have personally experienced with one of my own pets. Most of the time I tell people they need to seek professional help instead of seeking it here.
