USA asylum case USCIS Immigration court?

I came to USA on visa waver on 4th of September. Applied for asylum on 30th of November. But my case was received only on 6th of December. So I was told by USCIS that because it was over 3 months they have no jurisdiction under me and they transferred my case to immigration court on 10th of January. I was not entered into court automatic system. My document were declined and sent back to NSCIS. They kept them for about 5 months and only after numerous calls and visits they told me that USCIS filed something incorrectly and they are sending my case back to USCIS. I have called, faxed and visited local USCIS office. They did not gave me a straight answer. Just said that were was a computer related problem and they cannot enter me into the system as they don't have enough rights. So they have to deal with court to handle my case. I asked for how long it may take and they said that they don't know. I just sent a fax to local congress representative, planing to send a letter to the Los Angeles immigration court. Question would be is were something else I could do ? As I have been in this situation over 150 days and I still can't apply for EAD as USCIS clock is stoped and I haven't even had my first hearing with immigration judge.
