I'm aware that the name "Eden" is of Hebrew origin, meaning pleasure and delight, which comes from the Sumerian word for "plain" or "steppe." However, recently I've heard from several sources (two old name books and two on the internet) that taken from Old English words "ead" and "hun", it means "blessed bear cub" or something like that and was used as a surname. Is this true?
