Acoustic guitar lower notes probem?

When i plug in my acoustic guitar in and plug up my headphones i can only hear my GBE clearly, my EAD strings are hard to hear over the other ones. i have the same problem when i Record directly from my guitar to Recording device. but when i play normal without headphones there is nothing wrong? please help me figure out why this is, Thankyou
