Does it say anything about ghosts in the bible?

My mom is always telling me that ghosts aren't real because there's nothing about them in the bible. Well, I've always believed in them, and I was curious earlier today and I think I found something, but I'm not sure, because the bible's very hard to understand for most people. The verse is 1 Kings chapter 22 verses 20-23. It says, "And the LORD said, 'Who will entice Ahab, so that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gil'ead?' Then one said one thing, and another said another, until a spirit came forward and stood before the LORD saying, 'I will entice him.' 'How?' the LORD asked him. He replied, 'I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.' Then the LORD said, "You are to entice him,and you shall succeed. Go out and do it.' So you see, the LORD has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these yor prophets; the LORD has decreed disaster for you." If there's anyone out there who knows what this means and can tell me if it's about ghosts or not then that would be wonderful! And I'm not looking for any comments about how some of you people are against religion. It's a question, and the only thing I'm looking for is an answer. Thank you!
